Aims and Scope

The Journal of Current Biomedical Reports (J Curr Biomed Rep) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing knowledge across a broad spectrum of biomedical sciences. The journal publishes high-quality research that contributes to the understanding, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of human diseases, with a strong emphasis on translational, clinical, and public health applications. In addition to its international orientation, the journal also serves as a scientific platform addressing regional biomedical challenges relevant to Iran and neighboring countries, thereby supporting the advancement of local healthcare and research communities.

J Curr Biomed Rep welcomes original research articles, reviews, short communications, case reports, and letters to the editor that address current trends and challenges in biomedical science. The journal aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration among clinicians, researchers, and public health professionals, offering a platform for the timely dissemination of innovations that impact patient care and healthcare systems.

Announcements

Mandatory AI usage statement and publication fee increase starting 2026

2025-12-04

We would like to inform all authors that, effective from the beginning of 2026, it will be mandatory to include a statement regarding the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and AI-assistants in the preparation of all submitted manuscripts. This statement must disclose any AI tools or assistants used in the writing, editing, or research process.

Additionally, please be informed that the publication fee for articles will increase from 10,000,000 Iranian Rial to 15,000,000 IR Rials, as per the new guidelines. This adjustment will help support the continued development of the journal and maintain high-quality standards.
